www.friendsofwashingtoncrossingpark.com Washington Crossing Park is THE PARK where it happened. Had not Washington crossed the Delaware, the Revolution would certainly have been lost, and the United States would have lost its independence declared no more than 5 months prior. This is arguably THE MOST important historical state park, located along the Delaware River in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The state budget was cut, and the allotment for the park was reduced to a trickle. Eventually, the park was on the brink of closing, when a team of volunteers stepped in to save it. The Friends of Washington Crossing Park is that team of volunteers. Please visit the website above to find out how YOU CAN HELP!!!
