New Hope and Ivyland Railroad: Fall Foliage in Bucks County, Pennsylvania

On October 22, 2011, I decided to get a few shots of the New Hope and Ivyland operations, such as the Fall Foliage Train, plus the regular hourly excursions as they head through the fall colors of central Bucks County, PA: 1:08 PM – The Fall Foliage train heads west through Rushland headed towards Warminster with NH&I C39-8 8202 running long hood forward, which is still in Conrail Blue paint with the Conrail logos patched out, and a very nice K5LA horn. 8202 is obviously ex NS and exx Conrail. s 2:19 PM – Now at Lahaska, The Hourly Excursion pulls in with NH&I GP30 2198 for power. The geep then runs around the train, hooks on to the rear, and runs long hood forward back to New Hope. 2:48 PM – C39-8 8202 barrels east through Lahaska with the Fall Foliage train. The next day, on Oct 23rd, while waiting for Adam (CSX6000) to meet up with me at Warminster so we could go to the West Chester railroad (next two videos), I get another shot of The Fall Foliage train, this time pulling into the SEPTA Warminster Station, where the first trip of the day will begin.
