Sesame Street – Breakfast Time

From 1977, one of my all-time favorite Jeff Moss songs. Ernie has invited Cookie Monster over for breakfast, but the two of them have very different ideas about what to eat. For years I couldn’t remember all of the words to this song, but I’d find myself singing Ernie’s first line when pouring a bowl of cereal.

Captain Vegetable shalt never die. Clausule, who uploaded many Sesamstraat videos to YouTube, was unfortunately suspended yesterday, for whatever reason. The English version of Captain Vegetable was one of his videos. So, here it is once again: The beloved song from 1983.
