    I love Sesame Street, but those high-pitches voices are really quite annoying.
    I actually find the idea of Ernie pouring petrol all over their milk-carton house and lighting it quite humourous, expressly to see if the smoke detector REALLY works.

    I do like Ernie’s laugh though. With Bert’s laugh…wow. Hilarious! :D

    Has anyone got the clip with the Twiddlebugs cutting down flowers?

    According to the Wiki, it’s Kevin Clash. And now that I’ve read it, I do hear a bit of Elmo in his voice.

    The smoke detectors we have in our house says “FIRE” if the code-3 signal for fire beeps and “CARBON MONOXIDE” if it beeps fast. But I wish some with speakers like that had the same feature as voice-evacuation fire alarm speakers that say “Attention! Attention! There has been a fire reported in the building. All occupants, please leave the building by the nearest exit. Do not use the elevators.”

    It’s a shame Sesame Street teaches about fire safety on rare occasions.

    “It’s Fireman Ernie to the rescue!”

    It’s a good thing they have Ernie to help them all the time, otherwise they’d burned to death a long time ago

    Where there’s smoke, they pinch… ah, I don’t have the heart to say it. Thanks for posting these rarities for us fans.

    @jr52990
    True but the Twiddle Bugs are awesome either way.

    I never knew about this until today (or maybe I did and forgot about it). I wonder who performed the superintendant… I feel he talks a bit like some Jerry Nelson characters.

    Now here’s one I don’t remember. But I like it. Their voices are higher than usual here, especially Timmy’s. And note how Thomas calls his daughter Tessa rather than Tina this time.

    I wonder who’s doing Mr. Superintendent.

    I don’t remember ever seeing this back in my days of watching pre Henson death Street scenes.
