It’s kind of ironic that goofy old Ernie’s the one who sings the most songs that make me cry… This one, and “Up goes the castle” are the two that still get to me.

ernies songs are sounding sad
laih23 on Wed, 16th Dec 2009 10:02 pm
This song made me so sad when I was little that I’d change the channel so I wouldn’t cry. It still makes me cry, but in a good way, I think.

Jim Henson will never be replaced, however the Muppets and Sesame Street must go on. As said in the Muppets Tribute to Jim Henson, “That’s the way the boss would want it.”

Some of the best memories I have of my childhood are the ones of watching Sesame Street with my sisters! They don’t make them like this anymore!
Ernie is my hero!

In Ecuador, they were named Beto y Enrique (Ernie). but this song is really nice, melancholic in english.

Funny, I don’t remember ever seeing this on Sesame Street, although I’m sure that I must have. I remember it from one of my cassette tapes I had as a kid (still have, actually) — Chenille Sisters’ 123 for Kids. It makes me smile to know that it was on Sesame Street too. One of my favorite kids’ songs ever. So soothing.

Illuminati=reptilian kin aka jinn, naga, demons, dragons, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rockefellars, Rothschilds etc who rule secret societies like Freemasonry. Their agenda: force toxic swine flu vaccines on many, cap n trade, internet 2, codex alimentarius, WW3 then a staging of an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with us chipped. Support Dr Deagle, Stewart Swerdlow, Oracle Broadcasting, gardening and free-energy technology!

This is SO adorable. Why can’t little kids get things like THIS from TV anymore? It’s not fair.
