Sesame Character's at toddler's birthday party?

My son’s second birthday is coming up and we want to do something special. He’s virtually crazy about Elmo and the other Sesame Street cast. Is it possible to get a few characters over to a party to entertain the kids in the place of a clown? Where can one find out?

You might’ve considered this already, but I think it needs to be pointed out that being crazy about Elmo on tv is worlds different than being crazy about the 6 foot tall Elmo that walks into your birthday party.

My son would be terrified, for sure.

That said, I’ve seen many, many Sesame Street Halloween costumes recently, and I think your best bet would be to get one of those and dress up in it yourself, or have a friend dress up. Not only will it be far less expensive, and much simpler, but someone who knows the kids will be able to relate to them easier and might be less scary. If the kids hate it, the friend can take the costume off, no harm done. If the kids love it, you can always use the costume again!

Well, I don’t think the Actual big bird can come over but mabye you can buy a big bird or elmo costume and have a friend put on the costume and perform. (Just a suggestion)
Elmo is a puppet too just so you know.
Big bird I think is the only person in a costume.
All the other sesame street characters are puppets.
    Hope I helped Absotivley Posoblutly!
    lol

    i dont suggest doing that
first off he wont remember this party so dont make a huge deal out of it

also little kids especially toddlers tend to be scared of large costumed characters
