Is there a way to find out if my estranged cousin purchased a new home?

I’m trying to contact a cousin I haven’t seen in years about an inheritance from a mutual great uncle. He and I both have no siblings, his phone, if any, is unlisted, and the people at his old house didn’t know anything about him. With the estate attorney charging 0/hour, any legwork I can do myself would save big bucks. Are real estate sales public record? Do I check with each county, each municipality, each real estate agency,or what? Thanks, everyone!

My husband just bought an Ipad2 for my birthday last April. Yesterday, It dropped from the stroller onto the concrete floor in Sesame Place. Yes, I admit it is my fault. I took it out to check something out and totally forgot to keep back in its safe place when it dropped. It was very dark too. I just made an appointment with Apple Genius to have it fixed. How long will this take and how much? It still under warranty.
