Desperate for a deer?!?

Been deer hunting this fire arms season with only one weak left, saw two spikes so far and that’s it. During archery i was seeing deer like crazy but never had a chance to get a shot at them. Im now on vacation for this last weak of the season (thank god) I hunt about 300 acres of state park land, and ive always seen deer come off the posted land, but so has everyone else in this county! It seems like everyone and there brother was out there just the other day. I’ve seen doe come off the posted stuff at the top of the ridge and then they disappear when they hit the park property. Tomorrow its supposed to be a high of 23 deg. that’s the coldest its been during the day so far, and there is also 18-20 MPH wind blowing to the west with scattered snow all day long. Any tips, advise, suggestions…anything. I know deer aren’t stupid but i didn’t think they were this damn smart to keep evading me like this. Im not a trophy hunter just want some meat for the freezer so any doe or legal pointed buck is fair game for me.

New Print and Canvas
January is a time for me to print new pieces which will now appear at both art/fine craft shows and at the Artists’ Gallery (Lambertville, NJ). The image below is a new work that I’ve titled Autumn Meander. It is an image I made here in Bucks County, PA this past fall and continues with a theme I’ve been developing - Paths.
It is available on archival canvas at a size of 24×36 (ready to hang) for $495.00. It is a wonderful piece in this size and really allows you to lose yourself down the path. It does need to be seen in person!
